Since 1989, Industrial Safety, Inc. has been providing high quality products and top notch service. We are a family-owned and operated business with deep ties to Wisconsin’s fire departments. We are very proud of the team we have built at our company. From our office staff, to our sales team, to our service technicians, we surround ourselves with the best, because you deserve the best.
Our company was started by Mike Jarchow in a tiny basement office building and has since grown to service fire departments, EMS, industry, utilities and municipalities across Wisconsin and Eastern Minnesota.
After owning and operating the business for nearly 30 years, we recently transitioned the business to the second generation. Now operated by Adam Jarchow, a volunteer firefighter, we are committed to providing the best products and the best service at competitive prices.
We believe volunteer firefighters represent the best amongst us. Every single day volunteer firefighters protect their friends and neighbors. Our business is dedicated to protecting the men and women who protect us. We would be honored to have the opportunity to serve you and your fire department.

Mike Jarchow
Founder
Mike founded Industrial Safety Inc. in 1989. He has worked in both sales and service with the company. He continues to advise and coach the Industrial Safety Inc. team with the everyday operations of the business.
Adam Jarchow
Owner/Vice President
In October 2017, Mike decided to focus on working less and enjoying more time with family and friends. Mike’s son Adam stepped into the role as President of the company.
Andrea Cress
General Manager
Andrea started with us in the fall of 2010. She has streamlined our entire operation and brings a revived attitude to our company and the way we operate. Andrea is responsible for the everyday operations of the business and spends a great deal of time meeting with customers.
Nicole Friendt
Sales & Customer Service
Nicole came to us from her local fire department where she was the fire office specialist. She is responsible for scheduling and coordinating all service work performed by Industrial Safety. Her attention to detail is great with product research and in providing customer quotes. She joined Industrial Safety in the Summer of 2018.
Brooke Schaffer
Marketing & Sales
Brooke is our marketing and advertising specialist. She designs everything from our website, to our catalogs, to our ads, promotions, and fliers. Brooke is also responsible for product literature and new product updates. She joined us in the Fall of 2018.
Steve Mullenbach
Sales
Steve joined us in January of 2021. He had been with Polk County Highway Dept for 34 years. His wealth of knowledge for anything Industrial-Municipality related is a great asset. Feel free to contact Steve with any needs you may have such as Signs/Stands, Hi-Viz, Lights//Back-up Cameras, Gloves, Safety Glasses, etc.
Art Pett
Service Technician
Art joined us in the Fall of 2019. He comes to us with a great mechanical aptitude. He is involved in all areas of service that Industrial Safety provides, including but not limited to: gas monitor calibration, fire extinguisher service, SCBA testing (flow testing air packs and face pieces), SCBA Fit Testing, and extrication tool service.
Stacy Ofstad
Outside Sales
Stacy covers the Lake Superior region in northern Wisconsin. As the fire chief at his department, he is a great resource for all departments in northern Wisconsin. Stacy has worked hard to create new relationships in the fire business. Stacy is also the Emergency Management Director for Iron County Emergency Management.
Billy Fish
Outside Sales
We welcome Billy Fish as our newest Salesman. Billy covers the farthest northwest region of Wisconsin. Billy is the fire chief in Dairyland, WI and has been in the volunteer fire service for over a decade. Due to his full-time job location, he volunteers on multiple departments. Billy has many relationships in the fire service and will be a great resource for our customers. When he’s not saving lives or selling the world’s best fire equipment, he enjoys hunting, fishing, and camping at the lake with his wife and 2 children.
